Yumi Na is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Visual & Media Design at Sookmyung Women’s University. She holds an MFA from the University of Southern California’s Roski School of Art and Design and previously worked as a Senior Design Researcher at the Advanced Design Research Lab, Design Management Center of LG Electronics. Her research and creative practice focus on AI-driven design methodologies, examining how artificial intelligence reshapes visual storytelling, motion graphics, 3D production, and immersive media such as XR and the metaverse. She is particularly interested in AI-integrated workflows and design pedagogy, exploring their implications for contemporary design education and practice. She teaches Basic Video Design, Motion Design, and AI Metaverse Design, and her work has been presented internationally, including at the LA Art Show 2025.
